The law of first within, then without.

"You do not sing because you are happy; you are happy because you sing" - William James.

It signifies that the way one feels can be determined to a large extent by the way one acts.

Your thoughts are the prophets of the future.

What you think, feels and dream flow inward, then outward.

That's the law of first within, then without.

Simply put, the law of correspondence.

Your external world is nothing more than a mirror or reflection of your internal world.

Indeed, you can predict your future.

Things I Wish I had Know

I wish I'd had known that my thoughts control how I feel.

And how I feel affects the way I see the world.

I wish I'd had known that formal education was only one option in life and not the only option.

Also that being positive can really change your thoughts which can indeed change your life.

I wish I'd had known that intelligence is not something you are born with, its something that can be worked on.

A New Dawn Unfolds

As I stood at the edge of my old self, I felt a sense of CHANGE washing over me.

It was like I was shedding my old skin and stepping into a brand new me (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I took a deep breath and embraced the SHIFT.

It was scary, but I knew it is necessary.

My old way of thinking and living wasn't working for me anymore.

I needed a fresh air...  a different perspective...a recalibration ...a new beginning...a total overhaul.

As I began the journey, I remembered that "God is doing a new thing" in my life (Isaiah 43:19).

I felt a sense of hope, change and excitement.

I was no longer held back by my old limitations, perspective, or way of looking at things or life. (Galatians 5:1)

I was free to explore and discover new things about myself and the world around me (Matt 6:33).

It isn't going to be easy, I know it, but it is worth it.

I am beginning to see the world in a new light, and to live a life that truly reflects the real me as I supposed to (Romans 12:2).

I am no longer stuck in my old patterns and habits.

I am free indeed! (John 8:36)

I'm not the same person I used to be, and that's okay.

I'm better... I'm stronger... I'm wiser.

And I'm grateful for the journey that has brought me here (James 1:2-4).

If you're feeling stuck or lost, know that you're not alone.

We're all going through times of change and growth (1 Peter 4:12-13).

But it's worth it. Embrace the shift, and see where it takes you.

You never know what amazing things you might discover about yourself, the world around you etc. (Proverbs 3:5-6).

It is time to go HIGHER and launch into the DEEP (Luke 5:3-5).

You have stayed on this mountain long enough (Deut.1:6).

See at the other side!

Call Home

Its been a while now since I posted something on my blog. But today I felt somehow about the situation of things around me.

I tell you I wasn't happy. I felt like talking to somebody. But who was close I reasoned. It now dawn on me - why not call home? What a mistake we usually make!

I had no choice but to talk to God - pouring out my concerns to God.

Honestly I felt better and assured afterwards.

Although, I must confess my first line of action was to talk to someone then it occurred to me - why not talk to the first and right person - YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER.

And I am glad I did.

My desire and prayer is that we always talk to God first before talking to anyone about our situations.

It makes a whole world of difference. It changes everything.
